The Object of the Boys' Brigade is: The advancement of Christ's Kingdom amongst boys and the promotion of habits of obedience, reverence, discipline, self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness.

Its Motto is: 'Sure and Steadfast'

Anchors play games, dance and do drama. They paint and colour and make things, but mainly 'make lots of noise and have lots of fun!'

Juniors follow an awards programme of adventure activities, community work, interests and engage in physical activities. They also do some figure marching, but the emphasis is on fun and enjoyment in a Christian environment.

The Company and Senior Sections work towards gaining awards or badges in Adventure (camping, expedition, wayfaring), Leadership (Drill, Christian Faith and Leadership Skills), Community (working for and with others), Interest (hobbies) and Physical (games, physical education, sports), but mainly have fun. Children who achieve all these awards at the highest level can gain a President's Award and if they choose, then go on to earn the Queen's Badge.

We also love to get away on summer camps and weekend breaks for fun and enjoyment, have evening 10 pin bowling, run discos and generally have a great time.

Boys' Brigade and Girls' Association is about young people having fun growing up together in a safe environment, whilst being challenged to achieve to their highest potential. What is more, they love it!
